Kandy is a large city in central Sri Lanka surrounded by mountains, which are home to tea plantations and bio diverse rainforests. One of the main attractions in the city is the lake, where you can have a walk around and spend a few hours. Just north of the lake, you can visit the golden-roofed Temple of the Sacred Tooth relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa), the most important temple in the Buddhist world. The entire temple complex covers a large area and there are numerous other temples and museums within the complex.

The tour starts in Colombo, where bhsrilanka taxi diver picks you up at 6:30 am from the hotel.
On the way, stop at the Pinnawala elephant orphanage, where you will have the opportunity to interact with some orphaned elephants, watching them bath in a local river and feeding the babies.
Continue your journey to Kandy, visit Peradeniya Botanical garden and then enjoy the city tour of Kandy, which includes a visit to a Batik shop, a Gem Shop and an Art & Craft centre.
In the afternoon, visit the Temple of Tooth Relic and Bahirawa Kanda Temple.
At the end of the day, drive back to Colombo.
