Upon arrival to the airport, we will drive you to Negambo, which has long been known as the most popular beach in Sri Lanka, famed for its wide range of accommodation, food, fun and shopping.

After breakfast drive to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, originally founded in order to protect and look after the wild elephants found wandering in and near the forests of Sri Lanka. Pinnawala has the largest herd of captive elephants in the world, where you may have the opportunity to feed baby elephants.

Continuation to Sigiriya or Lion Rock, an ancient rock fortress located near the town of Dambulla. It is a massive column of rock nearly 200 metres (660 ft) high. This site was selected by King Kasyapa(477 – 495 BC) as his Kingdom. He built his palace on the top of this rock and decorated its sides with colourful frescoes. Sigiriya today is a UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE and it is one of the best preserved examples of ancient civilisation. Sigiriya refuses to reveal its secrets easily, in fact you have to climb a series of vertiginous staircases to reach the top. Flying over the jungle you may see elephants roaming freely, water buffaloes standing in the paddy fields and monkeys swinging from the trees. Polonnaruwa, the second most ancient of Sri Lankan kingdoms, was first declared the capital city by the king Vijayabahu in 1070. Cycling in Polonnaruwa countryside is a wonderful experience: you can cycle through Polonnaruwa lake, meet traditional inland fishermen and know their living styles and traditional fishing methods: you also can enjoy a fishing experience in Polonnaruwa Lake with local fishermen. After breakfast drive to Yala National Park, where you can spot elephants, leopards, wild buffaloes, deers, bears and many more wild animals. Yala National Park is the Jungle Book brought to glorious life. A safari here is well worth all the time, effort, crowds and costs.

After breakfast proceed to Hikkaduwa, a typical beach destination for those who love to sunbathe and relax and popular for the the nightlife and surfing. There is a range of other activities and attractions that can be experienced here, such as diving, snorkelling, the turtle hatchery farm and the boat trip on Hikkaduwa Lagoon.
