Upon arrival to the airport, we will drive you to Negambo, which has long been known as the most popular beach in Sri Lanka, famed for its wide range of accommodation, food, fun and shopping.
After breakfast drive to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, originally founded in order to protect and look after the wild elephants found wandering in and near the forests of Sri Lanka. Pinnawala has the largest herd of captive elephants in the world, where you may have the opportunity to feed baby elephants.
Continuation to Sigiriya or Lion Rock, an ancient rock fortress located near the town of Dambulla. It is a massive column of rock nearly 200 metres (660 ft) high. This site was selected by King Kasyapa(477 – 495 BC) as his Kingdom. He built his palace on the top of this rock and decorated its sides with colourful frescoes. Sigiriya today is a UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE and it is one of the best preserved examples of ancient civilisation. Sigiriya refuses to reveal its secrets easily, in fact you have to climb a series of vertiginous staircases to reach the top. Early in the morning enjoy the tour in the Hot Air balloon! Flying over the jungle you may see elephants roaming freely, water buffaloes standing in the paddy fields and monkeys swinging from the trees. The use of hot air balloons is very popular among tourists because it offers an experience that will be remembered forever. Proceed to the ancient city of Polonnaruwa.
Polonnaruwa, the second most ancient of Sri Lankan kingdoms, was first declared the capital city by the king Vijayabahu in 1070. Cycling in Polonnaruwa countryside is a wonderful experience: you can cycle through Polonnaruwa lake, meet traditional inland fishermen and know their living styles and traditional fishing methods: you also can enjoy a fishing experience in Polonnaruwa Lake with local fishermen. The KNUCKLES MOUNTAIN RANGE is a major eco tourism venue of Sri Lanka. It is a real paradise for those who love to hike or cycle in the mountains, since it offers numerous hill trails that journey across clear rivers, dense forests, waterfalls and lush tea plantations.

Experience White Water Rafting in the Kelani River, covering 5 major rapids and 4 minor rapids. This activity is for anyone above the age of 10 years with safety gear, modern rafts, and a comprehensive safety briefing given by instructors beforehand. The distance covered is around 5 KMs. The river and its surrounding will make you feel amazed, with a memorable experience.
Activities in Kithulgala:
Kandy is a large city in central Sri Lanka, surrounded by mountains, which are home to tea plantations and rainforests. Kandy is famous for its lake (Bogambara Lake), where tourists enjoy walking around, and also famed for its sacred Buddhist sites, including the Temple of the Tooth Relic.
Proceed to Ella, an everyone favourite hill country village surrounded by beautiful rocks and mountains, including the famous “Mini Adams Peak’ Rock. If you are into hiking an climbing, you can enjoy some of the most spectacular views of Sri Lanka.
After breakfast drive to Yala National Park, where you can spot elephants, leopards, wild buffaloes, deers, bears and many more wild animals. Yala National Park is the Jungle Book brought to glorious life. A safari here is well worth all the time, effort, crowds and costs.
After breakfast proceed to Hikkaduwa, a typical beach destination for those who love to sunbathe and relax and popular for the the nightlife and surfing. There is a range of other activities and attractions that can be experienced here, such as diving, snorkelling, the turtle hatchery farm and the boat trip on Hikkaduwa Lagoon.
After breakfast go to the airport in time for your flight.
